CROSSFIT CLASSES:

*Intro Course Required

The Intro Class is a series of eight (8) sessions that are scheduled twice per week over a 4 week period. Each session will last approximately one hour each. 

Checklist for getting signed up for the Back to Basics Intro:

You will need to select the a class time that works best for your schedule (6:00 AM or 6:00 PM) so that you can attend all the sessions consecutively.*
* If your schedule requires you to miss a class, make sure you speak with your coach to work out the details of the day and time for the additional makeup session.
Sign up online for the class you would like to attend.
Once we receive the email, we will setup your Wodify account. (Wodify is the software we use to manage memberships and also allows athletes to track workout results).
You will receive an email back with instructions to access your Wodify account, sign a waiver, reply to our survey, and pay for the intro fee.
Please do this as early as possible since the classes are filling up quickly and your spot is not reserved until your paperwork is turned in and you have paid.

L.I.F.E. CLASSES: 

*No Intro Course Required

L.I.F.E. stands for “Longevity In Functional Efficiency” and its aim is to demonstrate that no one is too old or out-of-shape to benefit from the basic CrossFit principles of utilizing a variety of functional movements to enhance the quality and quantity of their lives. 

As in our regular classes, L.I.F.E. offers safe, effective workouts – a “gentle” version of CrossFit with more emphasis on mobility and longevity and less on competition and intensity. We start where you are and take you to more than you thought you could be. 

No introductory class is required to participate in L.I.F.E. – Longevity In Functional Efficiency  If you are looking for a lift…try L.I.F.E. @ Mayhem!!

Our L.I.F.E.@Mayhem classes are at 9:30am on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at 5:00pm on Monday and Wednesday.

KIDS & TEEN CLASSES:

*No Intro Course Required

Our Kids and Teens programs are geared specifically to the younger age groups.

KIDS

The Kids class is held on Wednesday and Friday at 5:00pm. It is for ages 5-9. This class will introduce kids to some of the foundation movements of CrossFit in a fun environment. They will not only learn some of the movements like squats, presses, and burpees, they will also learn a little about nutrition and other things. In this class they will use little to no weight. The weight they would use as they progress would be light medicine balls, light kettlebells or 5 lb plates. This is only used when the child has shown that they can do the movement properly.

PRETEENS
Our Preteens class is held on Wednesday and Friday at 4:00pm. It is for ages 9-13. This class introduces kids to the correct foundation movements and will begin teaching some different lifts, starting with a PVC bar and moving up in weight slowly using light barbells, dumbbells, medballs, etc. based on how well they perform the movement. This age group will be introduced to more movements, but still staying in the mode of practicing the movement vs increasing complexity and weight. We have several different levels of athlete in the preteens class and we will scale their workouts accordingly to help teach them the proper movement and also prevent injury.

TEENS
Our Teens class is held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00pm. It is for ages 14-17. This class introduces kids to the correct foundation movements and will begin teaching some different lifts, starting with a PVC bar and moving up in weight slowly based on how well they perform the movement. We have several different levels of athlete in the teens class and we will scale their workouts accordingly to help teach them the proper movement and also prevent injury.

Our goal for kids and teens is not to create the best CrossFit athlete. We want to use CrossFit to help get (or keep) the kids/teens conditioned to help them excel at the other activities they might participate in through recreational, travel teams or school. We encourage our kids and teens to try new things and have fun!

All Membership change requests must be emailed to crossfitmayhem@gmail.com 10 days prior to the 1st of the month. (Example:  If you want to stop AutoPay for May, the email to stop the May Membership would need to be emailed by April 20th.)  Failure to notify by the deadline will result in the payment for the next month processing.  No refunds will be processed.
